My Most Memorable Experience
One of the most memorable experiences in my life was my first volunteer activity at an orphanage. It happened two years ago when my school organized a charity trip during the summer holiday.

At first, I felt nervous because I had never taken part in such an activity before. However, when I met the children, my nervousness disappeared. They were friendly, cheerful and always smiling. We played games, sang songs and shared our lunch together. Although their lives were not easy, they were optimistic and full of energy.

What impressed me the most was when a little girl held my hand and thanked me with a shy smile. At that moment, I realized that small actions could bring great happiness to others. The experience taught me to be more grateful for what I have and to care more about people around me.

In conclusion, this volunteer trip was unforgettable because it changed my way of thinking and helped me become a more compassionate person. I hope I will have more chances to take part in similar activities in the future.
