I think all volunteer works are very valuable, no matter which kind it is. I really would like to take part in helping the hunger. Researchers have shown that food is the main source to survive. Distribution of foods are very important in poor countries.
It is indeed very sad to see how people are dying because they cannot obtain food. In Islam, there is one month of fasting, ramadhan. The lesson from ramadhan is to appreciate foods. Sometimes when we eat too much foods, we do not know the value of them any longer.
