Honestly, I have developed an interest in foreign music. In my leisure, I often listen to English songs on my smartphone. I believe that it is a perfect method for me not only to let my hair down after stressful lessons at school but also better my English proficiency. For example, when I feel tired and depressed, music can help to lift my spirits. Also, due to my regular exposure to English songs, I have got a good ear for English and accumulated some interesting vocabulary and valuable grammatical structure.

By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

One of my hobbies is listening to music, especially English songs. My hobby started when I was a first – year student at Da Nang University of Technology. I spend much time on it. I can listening when I am doing my housework such as clean the floor, wash clothes, wash dish…or when I sleep…I love Taylor Swift, Rihana…they are great singers. I can learn English vocabulary when listening to English songs and it also make me feel relaxed.

I think it a good hobby and I will never stop it.
