I. Lý thuyết: Câu bị động với “that-clause”
Khi câu có cấu trúc:

S + V (say/think/report/believe/know… ) + that + S + V

Ta có 2 cách chuyển sang bị động:

Cách 1:
It + be + Vpp + that + S + V

Ví dụ:
People say that he is rich.
→ It is said that he is rich.

Cách 2:
S + be + Vpp + to V / to be / to have Vpp

Nếu mệnh đề sau ở hiện tại / tương lai → dùng to V / to be
Nếu mệnh đề sau ở quá khứ → dùng to have + Vpp
Ví dụ:
People believe that he stole the money.
→ He is believed to have stolen the money.

II. Đáp án + Dịch nghĩa

They told me that you were the best architect in this city.

→ I was told that you were the best architect in this city.
→ You were told to be the best architect in this city.

Dịch: Tôi được nói rằng bạn là kiến trúc sư giỏi nhất thành phố này.

She reported that the flowers were killed by frost.

→ It was reported that the flowers had been killed by frost.
→ The flowers were reported to have been killed by frost.

Dịch: Người ta báo cáo rằng hoa đã bị sương giá làm chết.

Some people inform me that the director is going to take a business trip to England.

→ I am informed that the director is going to take a business trip to England.
→ The director is informed to be going to take a business trip to England.

Dịch: Tôi được thông báo rằng giám đốc sẽ đi công tác ở Anh.

That officer announced that the meeting was delayed until next week.

→ It was announced that the meeting had been delayed until next week.
→ The meeting was announced to have been delayed until next week.

Dịch: Người ta thông báo rằng cuộc họp đã bị hoãn đến tuần sau.

Dịch: Tôi bị thuyết phục rằng họ sẽ đi cùng tôi đến sân vận động.
