One of the major social issues in my country is the rising rate of environmental pollution, particularly air and water pollution. This issue has become more pressing in recent years due to rapid industrialization, urbanization, and the excessive use of plastic. Air pollution, caused by the burning of fossil fuels in factories and vehicles, as well as water pollution from industrial waste and untreated sewage, have led to severe health problems and environmental degradation. It not only affects the well-being of individuals but also threatens biodiversity and natural resources.

To address this issue, the government should implement stricter regulations on industrial emissions and waste disposal. Encouraging the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, can significantly reduce pollution. Additionally, public awareness campaigns about the harmful effects of plastic and promoting recycling should be actively supported. Individuals can also contribute by adopting eco-friendly habits, such as reducing waste and using public transportation. By taking collective action, we can mitigate the impact of pollution and create a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations.
