Topic 1: Write a letter to your friend and tell him/her about your predictions about future cities in your country in 2030 (at least 120 words).
In your letter, you should:
⚫ State the reason(s) for writing the letter
⚫ Give background information about you
⚫ Show your predictions (You can use some suggested ideas below)
* Optimistic view:
- A more liveable city → fewer private means of transport, more eco-friendly public transport
- More green trees
- More use of solar energy
* Pessimistic view:
- Not a very safe place → crimes, lack of living space
- Effects of global warming
- More pollution

Dear Ha,

Thank you for your last letter. I am happy to know that you have been well. Today I want to tell you about a vacation that I just went on. It started 3 days ago.

My family and I decided to go to Ha Noi to blow off some steam. It is the first time that we go there. We started at the Old Quarter. There were various types of delicious food for us to try. My favorite dish was the famous beef pho. I found a lot of shops that sell unique After that, we saw the Sword Lake and the Turtle Tower. I had Trang Tien ice cream and it was so yummy! We also got to see the Temple of Literature and learned about the history of examinations in the past. It was an eye-opener for our family. If you want, I can tell you about it.

After a tedious year, my friends and I decided to go on a trip to Phu Quoc island. We all agreed to go there by plane. Because there are so many fun activities to do in Phu Quoc, we decided to spend about 5 days staying. In terms of accommodation, we had made a reservation at a hotel located in the center of the city. We visited many famous tourist attractions on this island, such as VinWonders Phu Quoc amusement park, Grand World Phu Quoc, Phu Quoc National Park, and more. Additionally, we also tried out Bun Quay, which is a signature noodle dish of Phu Quoc. On our last day on this island, we bought some souvenirs and specialties for our families and friends. To sum up, the trip was very amazing and I wish I could go there again soon!
