THE QUIZ SHOW

       Our classmate, Lan, participated in a TV quiz show for high school students called Road to Mount Olympia last Sunday. 10 teachers, 35 friends, Lans parents and me went to S9 station in Vietnam Television Station to cheer and encourage her.

       The show started at 8 oclock with the greeting of the 2 MC, Tung Chi and Viet Khue. The participants had to pass 4 parts. Who had the highest score would be the winner. In the first part, our friend, Lan had 70 points, a wonderful result. We screamed and clapped loudly. She answered the questions in the next parts smoothly but in the final part, she made mistake in hearing and answering an English question so she lost 30 points. It was regrettable. She was not the best participant in the programme but with 230 points, she was chosen to take part in the show next month. That was great. We had an exciting day. After the show, we gave her many beautiful flowers and congratulated her by saying We are proud of you!
