Eta, a giant storm, hit Nicaragua on 3 November 2020 with strong winds and heavy rain. It caused floods and killed hundreds of people.

A volcano erupted in the Philippines on 12th January 2020. It destroyed villages and towns and killed 39 people.

On 24th January 2020, a dangerous earthquake hit Turkey. The earthquake destroyed a lot of buildings. 41 people died and many were injured.

Chap 1: Buổi sáng công sở

Lan bước vào văn phòng, tay cầm cốc cà phê ấm, tim đập thình thịch. Nhìn Minh – giám đốc dự án mới – đang cúi đầu trên bàn, ánh mắt anh lạnh lùng, ít nói, cô không dám tiến gần… nhưng vẫn quyết định đặt cốc cà phê lên bàn anh.

“Anh Minh… cà phê buổi sáng của anh ạ.”  Lan mỉm cười, giọng nhẹ nhàng.
Minh liếc mắt, vẫn không nói gì. Nhưng chỉ một giây thôi, Lan thấy ánh mắt anh khẽ dừng lại trên cô.

“…Cảm ơn.”  giọng lạnh lùng, ngắn gọn.
Lan rút lui, lòng rung lên một cảm giác lạ. Cô tự nhủ: “Anh ấy ít nói thật, nhưng sao cứ khiến tim mình… lạ thế này?”

Cả buổi sáng trôi qua, Lan cố gắng ngồi gần bàn Minh, vừa làm việc vừa quan sát. Mỗi khi anh lướt qua, ánh mắt thoáng chạm nhau, Lan cảm thấy một luồng ấm áp kỳ lạ len vào.

“Hôm nay, mình sẽ khiến anh ấy cười… ít nhất một lần,” Lan thì thầm.
Minh vẫn im lặng, nhưng trong lòng anh, ánh mắt Lan khiến tim anh hơi rung, một cảm giác mà anh chưa từng trải qua.
